Just want to give everyone a big thank you for your support and patronage for my time here as general manager. It sure has been a wild crazy ride. All you bikers, hikers, sledders, vacationers, construction crews (yes even you crazy Jackson Demolition guys/family now) and our new Boston family that even rolled silverware, vacuumed just for us staying opened longer and ALL our visitors. I especially want to thank all our local friends and family for their support carrying us during these hard economic times. My staff was also the BEST ever! I will definitely miss all the fun of meeting and greeting everyone, area tour guide-directions, and even realtor lol... And lastly, but most importantly, to the Pelletier Family for this opportunity. I definitely have some amazing memories! Please contact Dennis Hopple, cook and kitchen manager, for any event planning and menus at 207-723-6100 and be sure to look for the new summer menu....The restaurant's summer hours have begun: Sunday 11am-9pm, Monday Closed, Tues-Thurs 11am-9pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-10pm...One last note from me.. Sunday was a sad day as we lost Matriarch “mom” Pelletier. Her amazing interaction with the customers, offering to cook or bringing in her special treats, playing her dvd’s of the American Logger’s show, clearing, cleaning and setting the tables (though she saw no need to roll the silverware in the napkins), stealing the peanuts so customer’s would order appetizers instead, but mostly her being “tour guide” to everyone that visited the restaurant, sharing all her stories and proudly identifying every family member in the photos. The restaurant will never be the same without her, though her presence will always be felt. Thank you all who have called, messaged, shared a memory and kind words these past 2 weeks; as well as, your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We look forward to continuing her legacy. You will sorely be missed Lady Lena!
